Prayer Support

Our fellowship is undergirded and supported by prayer!

'The prayer of a righteous man (or woman!) is powerful and effective'

The Day of Prayer for the Armed Forces 2009 was held at St Martin-in-the Fields Trafalgar Square, London on 5 Nov.

Over 320 people joined together to pray for our Armed Services. The service was led by Chaplains and involved members of all three services, representatives from various military Christian organisations and musicians from Holy Trinity Brompton. It was a great occasion with much prayer offered up to God.

The main service at St Martin-in-the-Fields.

Prayer List

The prayer list is updated and issued with each newsletter. The list includes suggested Daily Readings (especially handy for those who have deployed and forgotten their Daily Study Notes ......).  If you have any requests that you would like on the prayer list please pass them through for possible inclusion.

Prayer Groups

Groups meet in different areas to pray for our serving members, missionary and ENCLU Members. Currently there is a monthly group meeting in Gosport and Helston (RNAS Culdrose). Please contact the Office for the venues and times.

Please spare a few minutes to pray for Christians in the Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Royal Fleet Auxiliary!

  • That they will be able to live out a Christian lifestyle within the harsh environment of a seagoing ship or submarine; whilst on front-line operations in Iraq and Afghanistan; or living in  a shore based environment.
  • That they will be able to bear witness to their messmates.
  • And ..... PLEASE remember before God their families left at home!
