Ancient Mariners

Our members who have retired from active service are affectionately known as Ancient Mariners. Many became Christians through the witness of others in their ships or establishments, and also many long lasting and happy marriages were born at meetings and events!

NCF has a very special and unique place in their lives!

NCF helps them to maintain their links with friends from their time in the service and they have real heart and love for the ongoing work in todays Navy. They help support our current serving members by praying, letter writing, offering hospitality and in many other ways depending on their skills (including 'envelope stuffing' on a regular basis!).
